INFORMATION ABOUT CEFUROXIME
Cefuroxime Axetil 500 mg is a prescription antibiotic that belongs to the cephalosporin (second generation) class, It works by killing bacteria or stopping their growth. Used to treat a wide range of bacterial infections, including Respiratory Tract Infections, Ear, Nose, and Throat Infections, Urinary Tract Infections, Skin and Soft Tissue Infections (UTIs), Sexually Transmitted Infections and other infections.
HOW TO TAKE IT
Usually taken one tablet (500 mg) every 12 hours with food.
Must be taken for the full prescribed course even if you feel better early.
NOTE : Take with food to improve absorption, Avoid antacids within 2 hours of taking it.
