ABOUT CALCITRIOL
Calcitriol is the active form of vitamin D3 (1,25-dihydroxyvitamin D3), Increases calcium and phosphate absorption from the intestines, Helps regulate calcium and phosphate levels in the blood, Promotes bone mineralization.
USES
Chronic kidney disease (CKD): Kidneys cannot convert vitamin D to its active form.
Hypocalcemia: Low blood calcium levels.
Osteoporosis or metabolic bone disease: Helps improve bone strength in some patients.
Precautions
Can cause hypercalcemia (high calcium) if overdosed.
Requires monitoring of calcium and phosphate levels.
CALCIUM CARBONATE
A calcium supplement commonly used to prevent or treat low calcium levels. It also acts as an antacid, Provides elemental calcium, which is essential for bone, teeth, nerve, and muscle function.
USES
Calcium deficiency: Due to diet, osteoporosis, or hypoparathyroidism.

Acid indigestion/heartburn: Neutralizes stomach acid.
PRECAUTION
Best absorbed with food (needs stomach acid for absorption).

ZINC

USES
